U2 – Bono

110,00625,00

Paul David Hewson known as “Bono”, born on May 10, 1960 in Dublin (Ireland)

The young Bono made an impression on the stage of Torhout-Werchter on July 3rd and 4th 1982. He brings out girls from the audience, dances with them, then the audience sees him climbing on the amps, while The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen play The Electric Co. Memorable moments and never seen for the spectators of a festival. U2 has, by the way, a large number of Belgian fans and a special bond with our country since their debut. Before U2, the program included Allez Allez and Dave Edmunds. After them came Mink Deville, Talking Heads, The Pretenders and Jackson Browne. In 1985, after their memorable concert at Live Aid, they returned to Werchter, then programmed as top of the bill.
